St.
Mary's Prep seniors receive Kondur scholarships
The top ten seniors from St. Mary's Preparatory at Orchard Lake
each received a $2,500 scholarship from the Louis and Ella Kondur
Memorial Foundation recently. Mr. Kondur, who died in 1996,
established the scholarship program with the provision that
scholarships should be awarded annually to the top academic
students at St. Mary's Prep and West Bloomfield High School.
The St. Mary's Prep recipients-their four-year grade-point averages
and colleges they will be attending in the fall-are:
- Ciro Spigno, of Waterford, 4.55 (Lawrence Tech University).
- Kyle Miller, of Farmington Hills, 4.35 (Michigan).
- Matt Lewis, of Oxford, 4.33 (Michigan).
- Brandon Larson, of Ann Arbor, 4.304 (Haverford).
- David Whalen, of West Bloomfield, 4.3 (Michigan Honors Dental
School)
- Derek Hall, of Lake Orion, 4.27 (Dayton).
- Patrick Hamill, of Wixom, 4.24 (Wayne State).
- Anthony Pattah, of West Bloomfield, 4.23 (Michigan).
- Stephen Grabowski, of Waterford, 4.22 (Michigan State).
- Daniel Tomlinson, of Highland, 4.2 (Michigan State).
