Ice arena offers full schedule of camps and community programs.
The ice arena at the Orchard Lake St. Mary's Athletic Complex
offers a variety of summer camps for all ages and all skills,
and a wide range of community programs. Call (248) 706-4200

SUMMER
CAMPS 2004
A series of hockey camps is available at the St. Mary's Athletic
Complex during June, July and August:
June 28-July 2, Rick Heinz goalie school;
July 5-9, Turcotte stick handling school;
July 12-16, Quent Riha goalie school;
July 22-24, Robby Glantz power skating;
July 25-29, Laura Stamm power skating.
St. Mary's-sponsored camps include Aug. 2-6, for girls under
age 12 and for high school girls;
Aug. 9-13 and Aug. 16-20, for boys ages 5 thru 8 (mite), 9
and 10 (squirt), 11 and 12 pee wee), and 13 and 14 (bantam);
Aug. 16-20, for boys 15 thru 17 and (midget) and high school;
and
Aug. 23-27, pro camp open to junior college, college and professional
players only.
The camp price is $295 per player ($330 for the pros).
Each camp will have a limited enrollment and will feature
over 11 hours on-ice instruction, classroom sessions and off-ice
training.

COMMUNITY
PROGRAMS
- 3 on 3 Leagues: Starting April 3, six teams per division,
squirt thru adult. Guaranteed nine games.

-Public skating: Noon-1 p.m., Monday-Friday;
noon-1:30
p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
Adults $5, seniors and kids under 12, $4. Skate rental $2.
-"Coffee Cup" exercise program for seniors and adults:
10 a.m. to noon, Monday-Friday; $3 per visit includes use
of fitness center, running track and skating. The coffee is
free.
-Learn to Skate:
Tiny tots, 10-11 a.m., Tuesday and Thursday;
Open, 10 a.,m,. To noon,
Sunday; adult learn to play hockey, 7-8 a.m., Tuesday and
Thursday.
-Drop-in hockey, 10:30-11:50 p.m., Friday and Saturday.
$10 per skater, goalies free.
-Birthday parties: Package includes three hours: 30 minutes
for set-up, 90 minutes skating, and 60 minutes for party.
Cost of $15 per guest (minimum of 10 to a party) includes
skate rental, refreshments, paper products and utensils. Guests
provide their own cake and ice cream.
