Nearly 300 Orchard Lake Ambassdors amd their guests were feted in January in appreciation for their support of the Orchard Lake Schools permanent endowment fund.
First Ambassador Fr. Walter Ptak, pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Wyandotte, greeted the assembly at the Detroit Athletic Club. He and Chancellor Fr. Timothy Whalen presented plaques and the Ambassador medal to 23 new members:

Contributions to the Ambassadors Permanent Endowment Fund are designed to provide the future of the Orchard Lake Schools. The principal is untouched; only the interest is used to support the Schools. The levels of membership include: a $1,000 contribution for the annual membership; a one-time $10,000 contribution for a perpetual membership; a $5,000 contribution for a corporate membership; a one-time $50,000 contribution for a perpetual corporate membership; a cumulative gift of $20,000 or more for an extraordinary membership.
During the evening, Wallace Ozog, national president of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, presented a check for $25,000 to Fr. Whalen, matching contributions from PRCUA members in support of the seminary. |
